We are committed to environmentally responsible behavior, and therefore offer you options for easily and freely returning your end-of-life electronic equipment.
The consumer plays a crucial role in the management of electrical appliances. They are the ones who decide what to do with an old appliance. Old and unwanted electrical appliances do not belong in unsorted municipal waste; instead, they should be handed over through collection points, so-called take-back points, from which they go for reuse or recycling itself.
The consumer must be informed by the symbols below that the electrical appliance in question does not belong in municipal waste. All new electrical appliances are marked in this way. The symbol may be placed directly on the appliance, on its packaging, or in the instructions for use or warranty card.
How to get rid of an old appliance?
Why recycle?
Electrical appliances contain many recyclable materials, such as plastics, glass, metals (zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, lead, etc.). Some of these substances are also very dangerous for the environment and human health, especially mercury, lead and cadmium.
By handing over electrical equipment to a take-back point, we save primary sources of raw materials, especially through material recycling, and at the same time protect our environment from possible unprofessional handling and subsequent pollution.
Fines may be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in accordance with national regulations.
