Complete modernization of technology for broadcasting all channels.
We carried out an extensive project of complete modernization of the Czech Television’s playout facilities, which included the installation of new technology and the renovation of the facilities themselves. The complex is designed to handle up to six television channels, one test channel, and a backup chain, along with four regional programs. Furthermore, the entire system is prepared for modular expansion.
The main and backup broadcast servers are Harmonic Spectrum X/VSX. The playout automation is provided by Aveco Astra with NUE terminals, and the control and monitoring system is based on EVS Cerebrum.
The television infrastructure is based on the Evertz EQX matrix, signal processing is ensured by Evertz, Cobalt Digital, and Ross Video technologies, and multiviewers are solved using Apantac T#.
The project implementation time from the signing of the contract to the handover of the work was 13 months.
