Complete modernization of technology for broadcasting all channels
We implemented the mobile contribution project for the transmission technology of Czech Television in 2024–2025. Its goal was to replace classic transmission paths – optical links or satellite DSNG connections.
The new technology enables connection not only with Czech Television facilities, but also with individual broadcast vehicles, using the capacity of 5G networks.
The heart of the installation is 5G LiveU encoders, complemented by 5G Peplink modems for return video and data links. This solution is ideal, for example, for communication between teams in a 5G network. Audio signals are provided by AETA codecs.
The system is designed flexibly: where fixed connectivity is available, it can be used; in locations without 5G or a fixed network, it is possible to connect a satellite solution such as LEO, for example, Starlink.
